Don’t Miss Your Seedlings

"...but all too often we ignore the seedling unrecognized under our feet hidden by mere blades of grass."

On Sunday, hit 1500 views! This milestone is encouraging because it indicates something extremely critical…growth.

Do you remember my post It Takes Time? I talked about the inevitable wait period that is necessary to see something that you plant begin to flourish. 1500 views represents to me that first tiny sprout emerging from the ground.

No, it’s not much. I mean there are blogs and websites out there that get well over 1500 views (a day), but you have to start somewhere. Besides, recognizing your growth will teach you to endure the process.

We are so quick to admire grandiose trees, towering tall, providing shade, fruit and boasting long years but all too often we ignore the seedling, unrecognized under our feet, hidden by mere blades of grass.

But do not all trees begin as seedlings? What are the seedlings in your life and are you missing them?

“For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” Matthew 25:29

If you cannot recognize what God has already given you, how can he entrust you with more?

So on this Monday morning I encourage you to take a closer look at your endeavors and notice the beginning sprouts of your labor.

Be thankful.

I know that it is easy to be discouraged when you are waiting on something, but God has a way of shining a glimmer of hope in your darkest hour…and sometimes it’s in the form of the little things.

Don’t miss your seedlings.

With Love Always,
